About ClaimAbroad
Who we are
ClaimAbroad is an independent cross-border crisis resolution platform based in Antalya, Turkey. We help foreigners who have been overcharged, misled, or harmed by businesses in Turkey — and guide them through the resolution process step by step.
We are not a law firm. We are not affiliated with any clinic, hotel, or business. We are an independent coordination service that bridges the gap between you and the Turkish system.
Our team
ClaimAbroad was founded by Yavuz Şen, a professional with 20 years of experience working at the intersection of language, law, and international services in Turkey. Our coordination team is based in Antalya and works directly with Turkish consumer authorities, embassies, and verified local specialists.
We speak English and Turkish. Every case is reviewed by a real person — nothing is automated or published without human verification.
What we do
When you submit a case, we review it for accuracy and clarity. We notify the business and give them 72 hours to respond — a legal requirement we fully respect. Then we guide you on your options: consumer arbitration, chargeback support, formal complaint channels, or specialist assignment.
Filing a case is completely free. If your situation requires active handling — where we step in and manage the process for you — we offer optional paid support starting at £49.
Our principles
We verify every case before action. We do not publish defamatory or unverifiable claims. We give every business a fair opportunity to respond. We comply with Turkish consumer protection law, KVKK data protection law, and content moderation requirements under Law 5651.
We believe that structured, transparent intervention produces better outcomes than angry reviews or ignored complaints.
Based in Antalya, serving worldwide
Our primary focus is Turkey — the world’s top destination for medical tourism, a major expatriate hub, and a country where millions of foreigners encounter complex bureaucratic systems every year. But the problems we solve — overcharging, deposit disputes, service failures, repatriation — happen wherever borders are crossed.
